Deaf and hard-of-hearing students and PhD students can count on free support from sign language interpreters and make use of the video conferencing and online sign language interpreting system.
Video conferencing and online sign language interpreting system — the university provides prospective students, students and PhD students with the opportunity to communicate with various university departments (10 workstations) via an innovative video conferencing system operated in the presence of a sign language interpreter.
The translation system can be found on the Tłumacz migam website.
To apply for the services of a sign language interpreter, you must:
- Complete the application form, including the information clause and consent to the processing of personal data;
- Submit the application form together with a current disability certificate:
- in person to the Office for People with Disabilities (2nd floor, room 233);
- send scans (PDF) by email to: bon@vizja.pl;
- send by post to the university’s address: VIZJA University, 59 Okopowa Street, 01-043 Warsaw (marked ‘BON’).
