Equipment hire
To help students and PhD students with disabilities participate fully in the educational process, the Office for Students with Disabilities runs a free loan service for modern, specialist equipment.
We strive to expand our lending collection every year so that it fully meets the needs of persons with disabilities.
To borrow equipment, you must:
- complete the application form, including the information clause and consent to the processing of personal data;
- submit the application form together with a current disability certificate:
- in person to the Office for People with Disabilities (2nd floor, room 233);
- send scans (PDF) by email to: bon@vizja.pl;
- send by post to the university’s address: VIZJA University, 59 Okopowa Street, 01-043 Warsaw (marked ‘BON’).
The following items are currently available for loan:
- a laptop,
- a Tatra Braille typewriter,
- i-loview electronic magnifiers,
- digital voice recorders,
- a portable induction loop,
- a Braille display,
- an Amigo Arc receiver for the FM system,
- an Amigo Arc receiver for the T30 FM system,
- noise-cancelling headphones,
- a specialist Big Track mouse,
- an Ergorest armrest,
- a Braille Edge 40-character ruler,
- an All-in-One Media keyboard with a built-in trackpad.
Please also note that applications are assessed to determine whether the loan of equipment is justified and whether it is appropriate for the type of disability. The equipment provided is intended to promote equal educational opportunities.
